Jacey Sink is a young American actress who has attracted attention mainly because of her connection to actress Sadie Sink. She is Sadie Sink’s younger sister, but Jacey has also built a small acting résumé of her own. She appeared as a younger version of Sadie’s characters in Stranger Things and The Whale, creating a unique connection between the sisters on screen. More recently, Jacey was also credited as Young Lila in the television series The Four Seasons.
Because Jacey has stayed away from the level of publicity surrounding her famous sister, there is less verified public information about her private life. Still, her acting credits and family connection give fans plenty to explore.

Jacey Sink was born on January 5, 2010. That means she turned 16 years old on January 5, 2026. She was 15 for most of 2025 and turned 16 at the beginning of 2026.
Is Jacey Sink Related to Sadie Sink?
Yes. Jacey Sink is Sadie Sink’s younger sister.
The two are part of a family of five children. Sadie has three older brothers—Caleb, Spencer, and Mitchell—and Jacey is the youngest sibling. The family grew up in Brenham, Texas.
Their family has an interesting connection to entertainment. Sadie and her brother Mitchell became interested in musical theater when they were young, while the family also supported the different interests of the other siblings. Jacey later became involved in acting herself.
Jacey’s connection to Sadie is especially interesting because she did not simply appear in unrelated projects. In two of her best-known early roles, she played younger versions of characters that Sadie herself played.
That happened first in Stranger Things and later in The Whale.
Jacey Sink and Sadie Sink
The relationship between Jacey and Sadie is one of the main reasons people became interested in Jacey.
Sadie became internationally known for playing Max Mayfield in Stranger Things. Jacey later appeared as the younger version of Max. The same idea was used again in The Whale, where Sadie played Ellie and Jacey portrayed Young Ellie.
This makes Jacey’s acting history unusual. Instead of simply being known as the sister of a famous actress, she has actually stepped into two roles connected directly to her sister’s performances.
People has also reported that the Sink siblings have remained supportive of Sadie’s career. Jacey and her brothers have followed Sadie’s work, while the family has supported her professional opportunities.
Jacey Sink in Stranger Things
Jacey Sink appeared in Stranger Things during its third season.
Her role was Young Max Mayfield, the younger version of the character played by Sadie Sink. Her appearance came in the Season 3 episode “Chapter Six: E Pluribus Unum,” which was released on July 4, 2019.
The episode includes flashback material connected to Max’s family history. Eleven sees memories involving Max and her stepbrother Billy. In one of those memories, Jacey appears as the younger Max.
Why Did Jacey Play Young Max?
The simple answer is that Jacey and Sadie are sisters and have a strong physical resemblance.
Casting a younger family member can help make flashback scenes feel more believable. In Jacey’s case, the connection was particularly natural because she was Sadie’s real younger sister.
The casting also became a memorable piece of Stranger Things trivia. IMDb specifically identifies Jacey as the actress who played younger Max in the episode.
Was Jacey in All of Stranger Things?
No.
Jacey did not have a regular role throughout the series. Her credited appearance was as Young Max in the Season 3 episode “E Pluribus Unum.”
This distinction is important because online searches can sometimes make it appear that Jacey was a regular Stranger Things cast member. She was not. Her role was a brief flashback appearance.
Jacey Sink and The Whale
Jacey’s second major acting credit came in The Whale, the 2022 drama directed by Darren Aronofsky.
The movie stars Brendan Fraser as Charlie, a reclusive English teacher who attempts to reconnect with his estranged daughter, Ellie. Sadie Sink plays Ellie, while Jacey plays Young Ellie in a flashback.
This was another project where Jacey portrayed a younger version of Sadie’s character.
How Did Jacey Get the Role in The Whale?
The story behind her casting is particularly interesting.
Sadie explained in a 2023 appearance that Aronofsky had added a flashback sequence involving a younger version of Ellie. The production needed a younger version of Sadie’s character, and Jacey was asked to take the role.
This meant Jacey was again able to use her natural resemblance to Sadie to help tell the character’s story.
At the time, Jacey was around 12 years old. The role therefore became one of the most significant acting credits of her early career.
What Was Jacey Sink’s Role in The Whale?
Jacey played Young Ellie, while Sadie Sink played the older Ellie.
The film’s story focuses heavily on Charlie’s broken relationship with Ellie. Flashbacks help give viewers more information about the characters and their earlier lives.
Jacey’s appearance is therefore connected to the emotional history of Ellie rather than being a large independent role. Her credited part is small, but it is important because it helps establish the character’s younger years.
The film was released in 2022 and premiered at the Venice International Film Festival before its wider theatrical release.
The Whale and Jacey Sink’s Real-Life Connection
There is an interesting real-life connection between the film and the Sink family.
Sadie was the older Ellie, while her real-life younger sister Jacey played Young Ellie. This was not the first time they had used this approach, because Jacey had already played Young Max in Stranger Things.
Sadie also talked publicly about Jacey around the time of The Whale. According to reporting on Sadie’s interviews, Jacey had not yet watched the finished film at the time of one of those conversations.
Jacey Sink and The Four Seasons
Jacey’s acting credits do not stop with Stranger Things and The Whale.
She is also credited as Young Lila in the comedy-romance series The Four Seasons. TV Guide lists the series among her three acting credits.
The Four Seasons was created by Tina Fey, Lang Fisher, and Tracey Wigfield. The series premiered in the United States on May 1, 2025. It follows three suburban couples who vacation together through different seasons while dealing with changes in their relationships.
Jacey’s part is a smaller role. IMDb’s detailed cast information lists her as Young Lila for one episode.
This credit is important because it shows that her acting work continued beyond the two projects that first made people search for her name.

Is Jacey Sink Still Acting?
Jacey’s public acting credits show that she continued appearing in screen projects after The Whale. Her role in The Four Seasons gives her a credit in a 2025 series, and detailed listings associate the series with the 2025–2026 period.
However, it is important not to assume that every future project listed on an entertainment database means Jacey has a large or continuing role. Her known parts remain limited, and there is not enough reliable public information to say exactly what career path she will choose as she gets older.
At 16, she is still very young, so her future career could develop in many different directions.
What Is Jacey Sink Doing Now?
As of 2026, Jacey Sink is 16 years old. Her most recent widely listed acting credit is Young Lila in The Four Seasons.
Beyond her acting credits, there is limited reliable public information about her current day-to-day life.
This is an important point when researching Jacey Sink now. Many celebrity websites publish guesses about what young actors are doing, but there is not enough verified information to confidently describe her private activities, education, friendships, hobbies, or future plans.
Because Jacey is still a minor, much of her personal life has also remained private.
Jacey Sink Instagram
Searches for Jacey Sink Instagram are common because fans want to see more of Sadie Sink’s younger sister.
However, there is limited reliable public information establishing a clearly verified, official Instagram account for Jacey. Some entertainment websites note that Jacey has appeared in posts connected to Sadie, but that does not automatically mean that an account using Jacey’s name belongs to her.
For that reason, readers should be careful with unofficial social-media accounts, fan pages, and profiles that claim to represent her.
It is safer to rely on verified sources when looking for information about a young public figure.
Jacey Sink Sister and Family
Jacey is the youngest of five children in the Sink family.
Her siblings are:
- Caleb Sink
- Spencer Sink
- Mitchell Sink
- Sadie Sink
- Jacey Sink
People reported that the family grew up in Brenham, Texas, and that Jacey is the youngest sibling.
Sadie is the family’s most internationally recognized actress, while Mitchell has also pursued acting. Caleb and Spencer have followed different professional paths while also becoming involved in music.
This makes the Sink family especially interesting because several siblings have had connections to entertainment.
Who Are Jacey Sink’s Parents?
Jacey’s parents are Lori Sink and Casey Sink.
According to People, the family had a sports-oriented background, while Lori and Casey supported their children’s creative interests. Casey has worked as a football coach and teacher, while Lori encouraged Sadie and Mitchell’s interest in performing arts when they were younger.
The family’s support played an important role in Sadie’s early career. When Sadie began getting major theater opportunities, the family made major moves to support her career.
Jacey therefore grew up in a family where acting and performance were already familiar parts of everyday life.
Jacey Sink’s Early Life
There is not a large amount of verified public information about Jacey’s childhood.
What is known is that she was born in the United States on January 5, 2010, and grew up as the youngest child in the Sink family.
Her older sister Sadie had already entered the entertainment world before Jacey appeared on screen.
Jacey’s first major public acting connection came through Stranger Things, where her family connection made her a natural choice for a younger version of Max.
Jacey Sink and the Entertainment Family
The Sink family’s story is different from the usual Hollywood family story.
The family did not begin as a famous entertainment dynasty. Sadie’s early interest in theater developed while she was growing up in Texas. Her mother supported Sadie and Mitchell as they became interested in musical theater and acting. Eventually, Sadie’s career took the family to New York and later New Jersey.
Jacey grew up around that experience.
Her appearances in Stranger Things and The Whale were connected directly to Sadie’s career, but Jacey’s own acting credits show that she has also worked outside projects where she was simply known as Sadie’s sister.
Why Does Jacey Sink Look Familiar?
For many viewers, the answer is simple: she looks similar to Sadie Sink.
That resemblance became especially useful when productions needed younger versions of characters played by Sadie.
In Stranger Things, Jacey played Young Max. In The Whale, she played Young Ellie. In both cases, the characters were the younger versions of roles played by her older sister.
This repeated casting has become one of the most interesting facts about Jacey’s career.
Jacey Sink 2022
The year 2022 was particularly important for Jacey.
She appeared in The Whale as Young Ellie, giving her a film credit alongside actors including Brendan Fraser, Sadie Sink, Hong Chau, Samantha Morton, and Ty Simpkins.
She was 12 years old at the time.
The role also strengthened the public connection between Jacey and Sadie because they were once again portraying the same character at different ages.
Jacey Sink 2025
In 2025, Jacey added The Four Seasons to her acting résumé.
She was credited as Young Lila, and the series included a large ensemble cast led by actors such as Tina Fey, Will Forte, Kerri Kenney, Colman Domingo, Steve Carell, and Julia Lester.
Her appearance was limited to one credited episode according to the available detailed cast information.
Jacey Sink 2026
In 2026, Jacey is 16 and remains known primarily for her three credited screen projects.
Current entertainment databases continue to list Stranger Things, The Whale, and The Four Seasons among her acting work.
There is no strong evidence that she currently has a major starring role or a large announced film career. Therefore, it is better to describe 2026 as a period when Jacey is still developing her career rather than claiming that she has already become a major Hollywood star.
Jacey Sink Videos
There are videos connected with Jacey’s acting work, especially clips, trailers, and scenes from the productions in which she appeared.
TV Guide currently lists video material connected with The Four Seasons and The Whale on its Jacey Sink profile.
There are also online clips and discussions about her appearance as Young Max in Stranger Things.
Because Jacey is a young person, however, viewers should be careful about unofficial videos that claim to show private aspects of her life. A clip from a film or television production is very different from a private video.
La Ballena Jacey Sink
Some Spanish-language searches use “La Ballena Jacey Sink” when referring to Jacey’s role in The Whale.
La ballena is the Spanish title commonly used for The Whale. Jacey is credited in the movie as Young Ellie, while Sadie Sink plays the older Ellie.
So searches for “la ballena Jacey Sink” are referring to the same 2022 movie, not a separate film starring Jacey.
What Makes Jacey Sink’s Career Interesting?
Jacey’s career is small compared with her sister’s, but it has a very unusual pattern.
Her first two well-known screen roles were both younger versions of characters played by Sadie. That means her career is closely connected to her family relationship while also giving her direct experience working on major productions.
Her later role in The Four Seasons is also notable because it is not another younger version of a Sadie Sink character.
That could be seen as a small step toward building an identity separate from her sister.
Jacey Sink vs. Sadie Sink
It is easy to confuse Jacey and Sadie when searching online, but their careers are very different.
Sadie is the older sister and the much more established actress. She became widely known for Stranger Things and has worked in film and Broadway. Jacey is the younger sister and has only a few credited screen roles so far.
Jacey’s public profile is therefore largely connected to her family relationship and her appearances as younger versions of Sadie’s characters.
That does not mean she cannot develop a separate career. At 16, she has plenty of time to decide whether acting will become a major part of her future.
Final Thoughts
Jacey Sink is much more than a name that appears next to Sadie Sink in celebrity searches. She is a young actress who has already appeared in several recognizable productions.
Her career began attracting attention through Stranger Things, where she played Young Max, the younger version of Sadie Sink’s famous character. She later returned to a similar role in The Whale, playing Young Ellie while Sadie played the older Ellie.
Her appearance as Young Lila in The Four Seasons gave her another screen credit and showed that her acting work was not limited to projects connected to her sister.
At 16, Jacey is still at an early stage of her life and career. There is not enough reliable public information to predict exactly where she will go next. What is clear is that she has already gained experience on well-known productions and has an unusual connection to her sister’s acting career.
For now, Jacey Sink remains a young actress to watch, with a small but memorable résumé and a strong family connection to one of the best-known young actresses of her generation.
